Author Julie Wray Herman
Julie lives west of Austin with her ever-patient husband, two indoor-only cats, and the creature that haunts the canyon below. She has found there is no plot problem that cannot be solved by a brisk walk followed by a couple of warm chocolate chip cookies.
Julie is the author of a successful adult mystery series about a trio of lady landscapers and magazine articles about gardening, horses and theater. In 2017 she wrote BURNED, a middle grade mystery inspired by her work with children as a Horse Management Judge for the United States Pony Clubs. Julie earned an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts with a focus on Writing for Children and Young Adults and is an active member of Sisters in Crime, the Author's Guild, and the SCBWI.
